House H.
Erlangen
The design language of the luminaires in private house H. is based on the modern, straight-lined furnishing style in the course of the modernisation of the listed villa. The corridor has a linear pendant light rail with direct and indirect components, supplemented by a blue night light for orientation. The dining table lighting is provided by a rectangular pendant luminaire with two lighting components. The lighting technology is designed for the dimensions of the table, so that the person sitting at the table remains outside the light cone and is not dazzled. The indirect component creates an atmospheric room light. The kitchen island is given targeted worktop lighting by recessed downlights in the extractor hood above. The bathrooms were fitted with surface-mounted luminaires, as it was not possible to install them in the existing ceiling. The double housing luminaires accommodate lighting technology and operating device. Additional lighting was provided at floor level in the shower.
The sensitive use of light sources and avoidance of direct illumination creates a harmonious spatial impression, with a high quality of stay.
